KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A suspect has been arrested after a group of people were reported to have broken into a home on Bridge St.

Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers reported to the home around 10:40 p.m. Saturday night to find the victims unharmed.

Those victims said that people broke into the home with a bat and stole several items.

After interviewing several people at the scene, officers identified the suspect.

They then found and arrested the 32-year-old Kalamazoo resident on Iverness Ln. near New Village Park.

A search warrant for the immediate area led to the recovery of stolen items, along with suspected cocaine and methamphetamines.

Anyone with further information about the home invasion are asked to call the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 488-8911 or Silent Observer at 343-2100.
