KENTWOOD, Mich. — Superintendent Michael Zoerhoff has announced his retirement after 33 years with Kentwood Public Schools.

“It has been an honor and privilege to serve this community over the past thirty-three years,” says Zoerhoff. “It is with a sense of sadness but also deep gratitude that I retire from this wonderful profession.”

KPS says Zoerhoff will begin retirement on June 30, 2021, adding that the Board of Education will seek his replacement.

Zoerhoff says he will continue to support KPS during his retirement.

“I will always be a Kentwood Falcon!” says Zoerhoff.
