WYOMING, Mich. — They Mayor of Wyoming issued and emergency order to expand outdoor seating at restaurants.

Restaurants and bars are set to open Monday, June 8th after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer lifted the stay-at-home-order.

The are allowed to open at 50% capacity with outdoor crowds of 100 people.

According to the City of Wyoming, restaurants, bars, taverns or anywhere that serves food can expand their outdoor seating to accommodate that.

They city says restaurants can spill their outdoor seating onto sidewalks, parking lots or other outdoor areas within 25 feet.

Restaurant owners can submit and application, including an aerial map of their plan, to the city planning office.
