CANNON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash Monday night in Kent County, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded about 9:45 p.m. to the crash at Archway Drive NE and Myers Lake Avenue NE in Cannon Township.
An eastbound passenger vehicle, driven by a 40-year-old woman from Greenville, left the road and hit a tree.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police continue to investigate to determine whether alcohol or speed contributed to the crash.
