LOWELL, Mich. — The Barn for Equine Learning is holding its second “Love on the Minis” fundraiser this weekend.
This year’s event will give participants a chance to support the nonprofit while allowing them to take safety precautions in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the nonprofit. They say valentines will be sold for $1, $5 or $10 to anyone who wants to express their appreciation for the horses.
We’re told valentines can be purchased by sending an email to thebarnforel@gmail.com with the name of the horse patrons wish to pay tribute to.
The nonprofit says they plan to stream the event on Facebook Live at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 13 to show everyone the love that the horses received.
