Stolen car crash sends two to hospital, manhunt for two suspects ensues

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A suspicious car crash in Grand Rapids has police on the lookout for two black males after allegedly stealing a rental car.

Grand Rapids Police tell us four people were inside the stolen vehicle when they crashed into three parked cars on Woodcliff Ave SE & Burton St SE. Two girls, of an unknown race, were in the stolen car and injured; they were rushed to the hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries.

The two black male suspects were able to flee the scene. K-9 units and multiple agencies are now looking for those two men.

It's unknown where the rental car was stolen from. The names of the suspects have not been released. You're asked to call GRPD at (616)456-3400 if you know anything about this crime.
