GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — Crews are still directing drivers onto Lake Michigan Drive from westbound I-196 after a semi tipped over Tuesday afternoon.
The truck is laying on the bridge just east of the Market Street entrance, making clean-up incredibly hard.
Sgt. John Wittkowski of the Grand Rapids Police Department told FOX 17 both westbound ramps from Lake Michigan Drive are closed.
Wittkowski called it "A big mess," but added there are no serious injuries reported.
Crews had let 1 lane of traffic open up after the initial emergency was assessed, but needed to close the lanes again to keep everyone working on the crash safe.
