LOWELL, Mich. — The Franciscan Life Process Center (FLPC) is going virtual to host their sixth annual Franciscan Rhythms 5K Trail Run/Walk.

Supporters can run, walk, or ride anywhere, now through October in support of the FLPC's music therapy program.

The fundraising goal is $30,000, which helps to provide services and financial assistance for applicants, as music therapy is not covered by many medical insurance plans. FLPC works with people of all ages, from kids with special needs or other verbal communication issues, to patients in hospital settings or nursing homes.

Registration can be found at trailrun2020.eventbrite.com and participants are encouraged to share photos on social media, use the hashtag #RunWithNuns, and tag the FLPC on Facebook: @FranciscanCenter or Instagram: @FranciscanLifeProcessCenter.

Sandy Koteskey, the director of the music therapy program at the Franciscan Life Process Center, joined us live to share more about the trail run/walk in support of music therapy services.
