GRANDVILLE, Mich. — One person died and three others were hospitalized after a driver lost control of a pickup Christmas Eve.
Michigan State Police sya the driver, a 43 year-old Grand Rapids woman, was not wearing a seat belt. She was partially ejected during the crash and died at the scene.
Passengers in the vehicle, including 2 children were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
MSP does not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash and ask everyone to slow down, wear their seat belts, and be aware of their surroundings; especially in poor weather. Before this crash at 1 p.m., MSP's Rockford Post alone responded to 55 weather-related crashes and slide-offs in Kent County.
