Police investigating shooting in Wyoming

WYOMING, Mich. — Police are investigating a shooting today that left one woman with a non-life threatening wound.

At about 11:30 a.m., Wyoming police and fire units responded to a report of a shooting victim in a business lot in the 2000th block of 28th St. SW, according to the city of Wyoming Department of Public Safety today.

They found the wounded woman there.

Police said they believe the shooting occurred minutes earlier in the 1300th block of Godfrey SW.

Shots were fired from a vehicle into the vehicle occupied by the woman, who was a passenger, according to police. No one else was harmed.
