Missing Belmont man believed to be endangered

PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Kent County police need help locating a missing person out of Plainfield Township.

Richard Drayton, 43, was last seen leaving his home in Belmont on Monday, Jan. 25 at 10 a.m., according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office.

We’re told Drayton has health issues and may be endangered without his medication.

Drayton is described as a 5’8” white male weighing at 145 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair. He may be wearing an oversized dark fleece jacket and gray sweat pants.

We’re told Drayton is not believed to be a threat to himself or the public.

Those with information in connection to Drayton’s location are asked to call 9-1-1.
