KENT CITY, Mich. — Kent County Deputies are investigating a suspicious death in Kent City after a man died trying to get help for a gunshot wound.
The Kent County Sheriff's Office tells FOX 17 the victim went to his neighbor's house and told them he had been shot. Witnesses told police a blue Honda Pilot was seen speeding away.
Deputies were called, but the man had died by the time they got there. An 18 year old man was arrested at a nearby Pilot truck stop driving a vehicle matching the one seen by witnesses.
A warrant was served for the victim's home, which is being searched Wednesday night.
