SOLON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man had to be rescued from the water Thursday after he fell in while ice fishing.
It happened on Long Lake near Long Lake Drive in Solon Township.
Authorities say someone saw him holding onto the ice after falling in and called 911. The man was in the water for about 20 minutes before Solon Townshpi firefighters were able to get him out.
He is expected to be OK.
