WYOMING, Mich. — A man was taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon after a shooting in Wyoming.
The shooting happened around 3:40 p.m. on Waldon Woods Drive off Byron Center Avenue.
Police say there was a fight in the parking lot resulting in a 39-year-old man being shot. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
The suspect in the shooting was cooperative with police and taken into custody. Their name is being withheld pending arraignment.
