LOWELL, Mich. — LowellArts has announced the 35th Annual West Michigan Art Competition will be held from Feb. 13 to April 10 this year.
They say out of the 242 artists who submitted artwork for the event, 92 will have their artwork showcased at the LowellArts Gallery at 223 W Main St.
We’re told gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m.
LowellArts says five of the displayed art pieces will be awarded with cash prizes totaling $2,500, adding that the winning pieces will be selected by guest juror Richard Brinn. They say winners will be announced Feb. 16 on their Facebook page and website.
