PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP MICH. — The Grand Rapids area will soon have one of the first indoor dog parks in the state.

The Pack Indoor Dog Park, located at 5205 West River Dr. in Comstock Park, will offer an indoor off-leash dog park for the dogs and a space for their humans to enjoy while they play.

People behind the park say are planning to open sometime this summer. In addition to the space for dogs, there will be a people-only seating area where they will serve food and drinks. Adult beverages could also become a part of the menu pending approval of a liquor license.

The Pack Indoor Dog Park will offer daycare for $30 a day. Pets that are in the daycare will be in the same area as regular visitors but will have an employee watching out for them.

Daycare dogs will also have access to a rest room and some kennels if they need a break.

Entry to the park will be $30 for a punch card for five visits, or $200 for an unlimited annual pass.
