BYRON CENTER, Mich. — Hospice patients at Faith Hospice’s inpatient care facility Trillium Woods received a Valentine’s Day surprise a day early.

Volunteers hand-delivered boxes of candy as a gesture of kindness to the patients, many of whom are receiving end-of-life care.

For the fourth year, Faith Hospice volunteers distributed nearly 300 boxes of candy to patients in their care at Trillium Woods, in their individual homes or in other nursing facilities where Faith Hospice oversees care.
