GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Firefighters are working to put out a house fire that started in the garage and spread to the home.
It started around 5:30 a.m. Monday at a home in the 2900 block of Alson Drive NE in Grand Rapids Township.
The homeowner tells FOX 17 that he woke up and heard a loud noise and checked the garage to find it fully involved.
The fire destroyed at least one of the vehicles inside the garage and another in the driveway according to our crew on scene.
Some parts of the house may be salvageable, according to the homeowner.
No word on any injuries.
