KENT COUNTY, Mich. — All lanes of westbound I-196 have reopened after slippery roadways lead to several crashes near Lake Michigan Drive early Monday morning in Kent County.
Michigan State Police say troopers responded to several crashes between 5:30 and 7 a.m. Monday on I-196 between Butterworth and Baldwin Avenues.
MSP says there are no reports of serious injuries but the crash brought traffic to a stand still while crews worked to remove the cars.
