GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A child has minor injuries after being hit by a bullet in a shooting in southeast Grand Rapids.
The Grand Rapids Police Department says it happened just after 1 a.m. on Brown St. SE.
Investigators say a 6-year-old, who had been in bed, was wounded when a bullet grazed their arm after shots were fired at the house.
The child was transported for treatment at a local hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
