KENTWOOD, Mich. — The Kent County Prosecutor authorized multiple charges against the suspect in the double homicide spanning multiple communities across Kent County.
George Yzaguirre Jr. will face two counts of first degree murder and one count of armed robbery. Police say Yzaguirre surrendered to officers on Tuesday and admitted to murdering David Isner Jr. and Ed Fuller.
According to state records, Yzaguirre has multiple prior convictions on his record.
Because the killings allegedly happened in separate jurisdictions, Yzaguirre is scheduled to appear in two courtrooms. He is not expected to be arraigned until Thursday.
