PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Monique Gabrielle Wilks, 22, was killed when the vehicle she was driving ran off the road and rolled just before 4 a.m. Saturday morning.
Michigan State Police are still investigating this crash, but have determined a Chevy Cruze driven by Wilks was heading north on US-131 just north of 6 Mile Road. The Cedar Springs woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle was reported to police for driving recklessly before the crash and police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
