ADA, Mich. — One of the top dog parks in the country, Shaggy Pines Dog Park, has reopened following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The off-leash dog park, located off Cascade Road in Ada, was forced to close but is now accepting dogs and their families once again.

We're told the park reopened back on April 18 and guests have been able to bring their dog for exercise and play while practicing social distancing.

“We’re so happy to see our members and their dogs back at the park,” says owner, Pam Stanley “we always look forward to seeing them and we missed them so much while we were closed.”

The clubhouse is still closed during this time.

Visitors are asked to stay 6 feet apart, and wear masks as they see fit. Guests are also encouraged to avoid congregating in large groups around congested areas like the pond.

“Keeping everyone (and their dogs) healthy and safe is always our first priority,” Stanley said.
