$10K reward offered for tips in Cedar Spring bank robbery

CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich. — The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in the armed robbery of a bank in Cedar Springs.

Investigators have been looking for the suspect since the Oct. 16 robbery of a Chase Bank on Main Street in Cedar Springs. Authorities say the man kept employees at gunpoint after jumping over the counter and demanding access to the vault.

The suspect got money out of the vault and took off.

Investigators describe the suspect as being 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11 and being in his early 20s.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
