ODESSA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Ionia County deputies were at the scene of a fatal crash Thursday morning in Odessa Township.
It happened about 8:25 a.m. on Jordan Lake Road near Henderson Road.
One car and one driver were involved, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies say a 22-year-old Lake Odessa woman was traveling southbound on Jordan Lake Road when her vehicle veered off the road to the right.
Her car then hit a ditch at a field entrance and rolled multiple times, throwing her from the vehicle.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff's office is still investigating what caused the car to leave the roadway, but deputies don't think alcohol and speed were factors.
