PARK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A body was discovered along the Lake Michigan shoreline in Park Township on Friday afternoon, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to the scene just before 2:30 p.m. after someone walking along the beach found the body that had washed up on shore.
The sheriff's office has not released any identifying information about the deceased person. The incident remains under investigation.
The sheriff's office says there is no threat to the public.
