HUDSONVILLE, Mich. — UPDATE: As of 8:15 a.m., Consumers Energy lists the outage as restored on their website.
A power outage is keeping some students home in our Hudsonville neighborhood on Tuesday.
Consumers Energy shows the outage is impacting around 1,200 customers. So far we've seen school cancellations at Hudsonville High School and the middle school at Hudsonville Christian School.
The Consumers Energy outage map lists the cause as "equipment failure" and shows an estimated restoration time of 9:30 a.m.
