GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Recreational marijuana will now be available to purchase in the city of Grand Rapids starting Friday.
Fluresh, 1213 Phillips Ave SW, will become the first dispensary to sell recreational marijuana in the city.
The store opened as a medical marijuana retailer in February and is located off US-131 and Hall Street on the city's Southwest side.
Due to the pandemic, only medical patients will be allowed to shop inside.
Recreational customers will need to place an order online for either curbside pick-up or delivery options.
"We like to provide a wide array of products and give people the options of delivery or curbside and keep them safe throughout the process," said General Manager Nic Hernandez.
To mark the milestone, the company is offering a discount to new customers.
