GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A shooting on the southeast side of Grand Rapids sent one woman to the hospital, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD).
GRPD officers responded to the incident just after 6 p.m. on 311 Cherry Street SE at Stuyvesant Apartments.
Upon arrival, officers found that one victim, a woman whose age is unknown, was shot in the leg.
The woman was transported to a local hospital to treat injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening.
No suspect information is available at this time, according to GRPD.
