GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A woman stole more than $100 from the Candlewood Suites off of 28th St. between 3 - 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
They have footage of the incident from a camera in the lobby, according to the front desk clerk.
The suspect bought some candy, then asked the clerk to grab a bag so that they left the drawer unattended. That clerk returned to find the woman running off with money.
She was reportedly staying with a male guest and was not on file.
Authorities are looking for the maroon Pontiac Bonneville that she got away in.
