GRAND RAPIDS — Two people were rescued after a serious crash on the highway early Sunday morning.
It happened around 5 a.m. along US-131 near Leonard in Grand Rapids, according to the Grand Rapids Professional Firefighters Facebook Page.
Officials say one person was trapped inside and the engine compartment had caught fire.
All lanes of northbound US 131 were closed as crews worked to clear the scene.
