GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A woman has died in a shooting at a northeast Grand Rapids apartment complex, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.
We're told the shooting occurred at Oakview Apartments Wednesday afternoon.
The 24-year-old victim died at the scene after being discovered with multiple gunshot wounds, GRPD explains.
Police say a man is in custody, adding he and the victim had known each other.
The public is not believed to be in any danger.
The victim's identity is being withheld at this time.
