GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — If you’ve been considering a furry friend to your family, the Empty the Shelters Holiday Hope event this week may be your chance.
The Bissell Pet Foundation will be sponsoring reduced adoption fees at 167 shelters across 35 states, including in Michigan, according to a Facebook post from the Humane Society of West Michigan.
All cats and dogs in the foundation’s care will be $25 and small animals will be $5.
As always, senior pets will be fee-waived.
