GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — One person is dead another is in critical condition after a head-on crash involving a Rapid bus.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Fairfield Avenue NW and Lake Michigan Drive NW in Grand Rapids. Grand Rapids police say an eastbound vehicle crashed into a westbound vehicle head-on, but what caused the crash is still under investigation.
The person driving the westbound vehicle was killed in the crash and the other driver is in critical condition at an area hospital.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending the notification of family.
