GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Officers are investigating a shooting that happened near downtown Grand Rapids Saturday night.
The Grand Rapids Police Department said a man was shot on Douglas St. NW near Straight Ave. NW sometime around 10:30 p.m.
He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
Police have not said if they have any suspects but forensic units were seen examining the area.
