GRAND RAPIDS — A man is in the hospital after being hit by a vehicle around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.
GRPD Lieutenant Cathy Williams tells FOX 17 the man was in the crosswalk at East Paris at the time of the collision. He was walking down 28th Street, but was catapulted into the intersection by the impact. The man was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor and police say the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the investigation of the crash. The intersection was closed during the investigation.
