GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Today you have a chance to donate $15 or a turkey to families in West Michigan that are in need.

Mel Trotter Ministries and Kids' Food Basket is teaming up for the event since the annual Thanksgiving Dinner at DeVos place was canceled due to the pandemic.

This year, the organizations are looking to collect 2,500 turkeys as part of prepackaged dinners that will be donated to families.

You can drop off a turkey or a monetary donation Wednesday from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. at Celebration Cinema North or South.
