GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Authorities are investigating after finding a man dead in his vehicle.
Around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, officers from the Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD) responded to multiple calls of shots fired in the area of Eastern Avenue and Oakdale Street Southeast.
When police arrived, they found an unresponsive man slumped over inside his vehicle. They attempted to preform life-saving treatment, but ultimately ended up pronouncing the man dead at the scene.
The man was since identified by Grand Rapids Police as James Anthony White, 34, of Grand Rapids. His death was ruled a homicide, according to police.
