GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A new electric experience is being brought to West Michigan, aimed at lighting up the night to connect guests with nature and wildlife.

'Illumizoo - A Glenlore Tale' will be open to the public at John Ball Zoo from October 10 through November 15, every Tuesday through Sunday from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.

This is an interactive nighttime display which tells the story of conservation throughout a mile-long journey. While the scenery is lit with sounds and changing lights, this is family-friendly and not a haunted trail experience.

Ticket prices is $25 for adults, $13 for children and seniors, and kids ages 2 and under can attend for free.

Mike Lomonaco, Chief Community Engagement Officer of John Ball Zoo, joined Fox 17 live to talk about the magical adventures that guests can enjoy.
