Holiday Train on Display at Ford Museum

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum is excited to announce it will again be hosting the train formerly shown Breton Village Mall this holiday season.The train was acquired last summer with the help from the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation. Renovation work has been done to modify the train to fit the museum’s feature exhibit space. Members of the exhibit team and Grand River Valley Railroad Club will operate the train while on display.

New additions this year include the Ford Paint and Varnish Shop, Congressman Ford's Quonset hut, the Pantlind Hotel, and the Circus Big Top!

The train will remain on display through January 2020. Admission will apply to see the train after December 1. BUT during Christmas Break (December 23, 2019 – January 5, 2020) the entire Museum will be open free of charge!
