GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — You may have noticed a lot of love going around Grand Rapids recently.

“Have a Heart GR” is an art installation that comprises of 12 heart-shaped works of art created by 14 local artists, according to Grand Rapids artist Barbara Lash.

We’re told the installation is part of the World of Winter festival and will be on display through Feb. 28.

Lash says the pieces have QR codes that will allow users to make donations to nonprofit organizations.

“These beautiful artworks provide everyone an opportunity to support local groups helping make Grand Rapids a better place to live and work,” says Lash. “We want to encourage people to think more deeply about the community around them and how they can get more involved in its growth and equity.”

We’re told the murals are sponsored by Downtown Grand Rapids Inc., and can be found in Rosa Parks Circle, outside the Grand Rapids Public Museum and throughout Monroe Center’s social zones.
