GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD) looking for the community’s assistance in identifying a vehicle in a hit-and-run that left a motorcyclist seriously injured.
GRPD posted a photo to Facebook, asking for the public's help identifying potential information about the suspect.
The picture in the post shows a white utility van. That van pulled in front of a motorcyclist at the intersection of Clyde Park St and Grandville Ave SW.
The crash happened on Friday, Sept. 25, around 7 p.m.
The suspect driving the white van turned left in front of the motorcycle, ran the motorcyclist over after the crash, and then fled the scene through an alley.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the accident.
