GRAND RAPIDS — Grand Rapids police say they are investigating several incidents that happened overnight.
Police responded to a reported stabbing around 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday. They say it happened at Rosa Parks Circle, but the 18-year-old victim left to go to the hospital. They say she had a minor injury to the back of her head.
Around 11:30 p.m. police were called to the area of 11th and Davis on a report of shots fired. Surveillance footage shows three males coming out of the alley way in the area and taking off. Police say a home along Davis NW was shot at 7 times and a total of 11 shell casings were found in the area. No injuries were reported.
Police then responded to a report of a drive by shooting along south Division near Cutler after someone was seen shooting from a vehicle. Shell casings were found in the area, but there were no reports of anyone being struck.
At 2:45 a.m. a home was shot a 5 or 6 times along Quarry Street. Police say shell casings were found out front of the home and at least one round went into the home. No injuries were reported.
Also around 2:45 a.m., witnesses reported shots fired along Horton Street SE. They say a vehicle was seen speeding away from the scene. A house was struck in the process, but no injuries were reported.
