GRPD asking for help finding suspects in rolling shoot-outs

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — After 2 separate rolling shoot-outs involving the same vehicles, GRPD is asking for witnesses to come forward.

The first call happened around 1:45 Saturday afternoon. People in two vehicles were chasing and shooting at each other near Giddings and Colorado Avenues between Hall Street and Boston Street. Soon after, gunfire complaints involving the same two suspect vehicles came in near Edna Street and Nelson Avenue.

No victims have come to the hospitals or been reported to police, but the areas were littered with two different calibur shell casings. At least two vehicles were hit by gunfire and one vehicle was hit by a suspect vehicle.

Police do not have descriptions of the vehicles.
