GRPD asking for help finding bank robber

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids police are asking the community for help finding a bank robber from Tuesday.

The robbery occurred just after 2 p.m. at the 5th/3rd Bank branch at 2065 44th Street on the city’s southeast side, a news release said.

The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a silver or light gray. Four-door vehicle similar to a Chevrolet Malibu.

Police describe him as a Black male about 25 years old, six feet tall and a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap with the initials G.O.A.T., a black quilted jacket with red and white on the back, jeans and basketball shoes.
