Grand Rapids Public Schools to hold virtual town hall on distance learning plan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The new superintendent of Grand Rapids Public Schools will host a virtual town hall to let parents, students, staff, and the public learn about the district’s distance learning plan for the fall. The town hall will be on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.The town hall can be viewed several different ways, and questions and comments will be taken. Superintendent Dr. Leadriane Roby and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Ronald Gorman will host the town hall. First, leadership will present a description of the distance learning plan.
