GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Police Department is asking for the community’s help identifying a person involved in a bank robbery earlier this week.

It happened about 4 p.m. Monday in the 3700 block of 28th St. SE, a news release said Friday.

The man entered the bank and implied he had a weapon, then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Grand Rapids police describe him as a Black male in his 20s.

He’s between 5’4” and 5’6” tall and was last seen wearing a black Adidas hat, blue mask and a black and blue sweater.

Police think he left the bank through the west door and drove away westbound on 28th Street in a black SUV.

Anyone with information may contact Grand Rapids police at 616-456-3380 or Silent Observer at 616-774-2345.
