GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — It's a sure sign the holidays are quickly approaching as the Christmas Tree at Rosa Parks Circle is officially being installed.

The City of Grand Rapids will began setting up the tree at 6 a.m. Tuesday in the heart of downtown.

The 40-foot tree is from Manton, Michigan which is about 110 miles away from Grand Rapids.

Each year, Rockford Construction, Gelock Heavy Movers and Buist Electric work together to provide this holiday installation.

The tree installation is thanks in part to Rockford Construction, Gelock Heavy Movers, Buist Electric and Charlie Secchia and his family who donate the tree every year.

The tree will be lit on December 4. Due to the new pandemic orders, the public was advised not to gather around and instead watch on the city's Facebook page.
