GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Drive, along with co-owner Ben Wallace, paid it forward Friday with surprise visits to four locations in the city.
Customers were surprised by having their groceries, hair styling, gas and lunches paid for by the Drive.
“We’re so grateful to the amazing Grand Rapids community for their support during this difficult year,” Wallace said. “We wish all our fans and partners a healthy, safe holiday season. And we encourage you to pay it forward.”
They visited the following locations:
- Family Fare at 2900 Burlingame Avenue SW
- Design One at 4693 Wilson Avenue SW
- Chick-fil-A at 2750 E. Beltline Avenue SW
- Family Fare Gas Station at 2900 Burlingame Avenue SW
This was the Drive’s way of participating in the NBA’s Season of Giving program.
