GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Monday mnorning, the Grand Rapids Police Department posted photos to their Facebook account, thanking community members of Grand Rapids for all the positive letters and food donations they have received in the last few weeks.
The food donations include cases of protein shakes and chocolate milk, as well as pizza delivered to the station, and a hearty BBQ lunch for the officers
"Thank you to our first responder partners, Life EMS, who delivered pizza, Acts Gospel Ministry had a chicken and ribs BBQ lunch provided for our officers and Fairlife Co. for the donation of protein drinks to our employees. These are just a few of the many donations we have received. We thank each and every business, and the wonderful community members of Grand Rapids!" GRPD said in the post.
